About Us

Road Guardian LLC was formed in Memphis, TN by Jacob Arnold and Samuel Jeong in 2025 however our idea was created in 2022. While living in Memphis we noticed a massive surge in auto thefts, not only in our area, but other cities as well. In typical engineering fashion we knew we could solve this problem. Our goal was not to make another run of the mill anti-auto theft device, but make one that was seamless to the driver and causes no extra steps in starting your vehicle. Thus the Engine Lock was born.

Sam

Graduating from Union University with a Mechanical Engineering degree, Sam soon realized that not only did his ping pong skills suck, but he didn't have a purpose until he was introduced to Jacob. Looking up to him as a mentor and friend, Sam found his calling in building products that matter. Today, he channels his engineering expertise into Road Guardian's core technology, turning ideas into solutions that protect vehicles from theft.

He likes long walks on the beach and writing poetry in his spare time.

Jacob graduated from Christian Brothers University with a Mechanical Engineering degree and a passion to work on cars. Driven by a goal to open a business and helping people, he and Sam came up with their first idea for a company, the Engine Lock.

He loves long walks at 5mph and whooping Sam at ping pong.
